Took a ferry to Iselboro this weekend. It was weird driving onto a rocking boat. It was neat to see the cars' suspensions all flexing with the motion of the boat. Spent the day driving around the little isle and collecting seaglass and shells on the beach. Every car I passed waved at me. Every. Single. One. It was weird and welcoming all at the same time.
We had lunch at the local cafe and hung out with some islanders. It take a special kind of person to want to live on an island off the coast of Maine. We figure you have to be rich, crazy, have seawater in your veins or some combination of them all. You have to be pretty self reliant because you can't run to Walmart @ 9 for some beer and pizza.

Did you ever think you'd be on a boat? Overnight or day trip? Maine's on the short list of states I've not been to yet. Sounds interesting.

I figured that I'd be on a boat I didn't think I'd be on a boat in my car. It was a day trip. We try to go to someplace new every weekend. I live in Maine so I recommend it highly.

That's ok, he never responds to me when I ask him to go out sailing.
I think it is because we aren't allowed to ride the dolphins in the marine sanctuary.

And we hardly ever race in tuxedos.
